What to Know about Cafe Racer Bikes

The term cafe racer developed among British motorcycle enthusiasts. It describes a style of motorcycle for quick rides from one transport cafe to another. It is also common in countries like Italy, France and other European countries.

The cafe racer is a light powered motorcycle that has been modified for speed and handling rather than comfort. The body structure and control of it mimicked the style of a Grand Prix Road racer, featuring an elongated fuel tank with dents to allow the rider’s knee to grip the tank.

The most important thing about it is the use of low, narrow handle bars which allows the riders to tuck in. Cafe racer styling evolved throughout the time of their popularity. In the mid 70’s, Japanese bikes had taken over British one in the marketplace.

Rockers were the members of a subculture that originated in the United Kingdom. It was mainly centred on British cafe racer motorcycles. They were known as Coffee Bar Cowboys.

There are many dealers available worldwide who deals in cafe racer bikes. You can choose anyone of them. However, make sure that you check all the parts of it carefully before you make up your mind to purchase it.
